I'm a big fan of the classic Reuben. The blend of corned beef, sauerkraut, thousand island dressing, Swiss cheese and hearty grilled rye is a tangy, hearty treat. But in the aftermath of Thanksgiving, when you're wondering what to do with all that leftover turkey, this variation is a delicious variation. Some people replace the thousand island and kraut with cole slaw, and that's a good sandwich too, but it's not a Reuben. The only difference between a REAL turkey Reuben and the classic sandwich is the choice of meat.
