There’s an old English folksong/hymn that says:

“Come, ye thankful people, come, raise the song of harvest home;
All is safely gathered in, ere the winter storms begin.”
This Thursday is Thanksgiving Day here in the good old USA. Other countries sometimes celebrate it on other days. But whenever you celebrate it, whether it’s a formal holiday or not, it seems wise to pause for a time, and give thanks for the bounty that we have been given. Whether you thank God, the gods, nature, or those who plant, grow, tend, reap, and harvest the food you enjoy, it’s good to do so.
Here at iMunchie it seems especially right to do it this year. The site is up and running, and more people are joining in all the time. There’s food, and drink, and fun - all things worth celebrating and being thankful for. So thanks to the Creator, and to all those who help produce the food we enjoy, and also, thanks to all my fellow iMunchers. Enjoy!
