B"H
One of the joys of meeting different people all around the world, is exchanging what we call, "the perception of G-D".
The more challenging part of this, is composing an explanation that describes something so complex in very simple terms so that anyone can understand.
In technology, we call this "intuitive" - so easy a 3 year old can do it.
I have been blessed with having the opportunity and experience of explaining HaShem to my own growing children, family, friends, as well as people from very diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Here are some of the Frequently Asked Questions and my answers about G-D...

DISCLAIMER: What you are about to read will change your perspective. I did not invent the concepts, I am only explaining it in my own words. I learned it through practice with great Rabbis, Priests, Imams, Monks, Sensies, Scientists, and Direct connection with The Source Shechinah. Through the ages, this was written first in sand, then on caves, then engraved in stone, then on skin, then on paper, and now in html...hopefully this one will survive time.

Q. What is G-D?
A. G-D is The King of the Universe, The Creator of Everything, The Ultimate Designer and Architect, The Energy Source of every physical, intellectual, and spiritual creation. G-D's creativity creates everything from our spirits essence, subconscious, personality and creativity to our physical look & feel. Neither my limited definition here, nor the definition from the greatest Rabbinical Scholar can ever fully explain and encompass our Limitless G-D, but it can give you an idea and a beginning.

Q. Where is G-D?
A. G-D is everywhere. He lives inside everything physical as well as in the space around everything. G-D is the space and everything inside it. We are in Him and He is in us at the same time. G-D is also in our non-physical existence...He is in our dreams, our subconscious, our luck, our emotions and in our creativity.

Q. Why is He G-D of gods?
A. Simple. He is The Limitless and creator of all other gods. His Limitlessness cannot even be comprehended by our limited intellect. This is the reason why He cannot be drawn or defined by us...not even by a single point. Hence, a Zeus which can be drawn, sculpted, and defined by men, who lives and rules a nation within the space that The G-D created for him, is a very limited god compared to The Limitless G-D of gods.

Q. Are there other gods?
A. Yes. Think about it as a Kingdom and Army. G-D, The King, created other gods as generals, and appointed Angels as soldiers to be as His strong executing arm to govern His animated creation as a whole. He uses all creations, living and dead, as tools. He can control everything and anything, your Shell (body) and your Spirit (your non-physical existence). He can bend space and time, and manipulate thoughts to achieve anything He desires.
"He is awesome above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are naught, but the Lord made the heavens."
-- Sidur Tehillat HaShem - Shacharit: 27

Q. What does G-D look like?
A. G-D can take the shape of any of His creations. He can look like anything and everything, and because of this, He is has no singular "look". One cannot be limited by being described as being one of his own creations. For example, if you invented the hammer, are you now only the hammer?

Q. Why does G-D not show Himself?
A. For many generations, He did. We pissed him off by becoming selfish beings who even forgot Him, He who created us. Think of it this way...
Let's say you teach a friend a concept. He then goes around teaching that too. Sometimes he mentions you, sometimes not. Sometimes people remember to say that You where the source of the concept, and sometimes they don't. Now fast forward a couple of thousands of years. Many generations have passed and the source origin of the concept would most likely be forgotten by many. Wouldn't that anger you?
Well, it angered G-D very much. So much, that He decided to make it even more difficult and put us to a test, going from a period of "Exposed" (Galuy) to a period of "Hidden" (Nistar). That is the ultimate test of the righteous believers...to believe in something that is Hidden. The good news is that the more you believe in Him, the more He reveals...but it takes time and dedication. Have you ever met someone who earned a black belt overnight? ;-)
