Description:

This is my signature dish and a personal favorite. If cooked just right to fish will slide apart and melt in your mouth !!!

Munchie Ingredients:
Preparation Process:

- Rinse off the fresh salmon and leave on the skin
- Heat pan on 3/4 heat and coat lightly with vegetable oil
- Place salmon in pan skin side down
- Pour 1 cup of lemon juice over entire fish making sure to make all fish wet
- Heavly coat entire top of fish with lemon pepper
- Cover pan with lid to catch the steam
- Cook until fish is flakey but not over cooked
- Take out of pan and flip upside down. Scrap the skin off of the fish if desired.

Prepare yourself for the best salmon ever !!!!

Oh ya ... For the black beans and yellow rice. Do what I did and read the box ;)

Whoa. That looks so awesome! What a great photo. Not exactly a Munchie question but what kind of camer and setup are you using? Amazing man. That should be the cover of Lemon Pepper Salmon magazine!

Thanks. I must say the fish tastes much better than the picture :)

I prefer to cook fish with a non-stick pan on the stove. I find that grilling fish normally comes out too dry or the grill eat most of the fish (unless you wrap in tinfoil ... but honestly what is the point then of grilling). Using the non-stick makes the cleanup easier and I remove the skin from the bottom of the fish anyways, so an iron skillet is not needed.

Trick is to have a lid that covers the top of the pan, glass preferably, and you can stick a fork between the lid and the pan on one side to let out some steam. You can add some water while cooking is needed. The steam is what cooks the top of the fish.

Good luck and let me know if your belly is as happy as mine :)
